This is a couple of weeks old, and as those in the UK will know, she has been found alive now (today in fact..), but I still want to say something about it.

A disabled pensioner who wishes he could have joined the hundreds of neighbours out looking for Shannon in Dewsbury Moor, West Yorkshire, has said he will give his own reward. Winston Bedford, 66, can afford £500.

When I read that, I started crying. Just so touched by this old mans kindness towards someone who he didn't even know.

The place she was found was less than 10 miles from my house. o_O Scary. As the crow flies, even less.
