Any knitters out there? I can make scarves, but I'm not very good. I remember starting a blanket, but I never finished. XD I'm such a quitter.

About the best wool type and needle size?

that's always a good one.
and also, the more serious knitters might argue about which knitting pattern works best with a poncho, and if scarves should have fringe or no fringe.

I knitted a scarf and didn't really look at it, and I cast off the stitches (closed them off), and then I realized that I had knitted a giant hole into the middle. o_o

I only ever knit a stretch of material before.. Like my gran would start me off, and I'd just knit.. until I ran out of wool.
